Scottsdale is basically the wedding capital of Arizona, and I am HERE for it. The venues, the sunsets, the desert mountain backdrops — it's all absolutely stunning. And you know what makes it even better? Live violin. I've performed at so many Scottsdale weddings at this point that I basically have a standing reservation at half the venues in Old Town.
Scottsdale's Wedding Scene Is Something Special
From the ultra-luxe resorts along Scottsdale Road to the intimate desert gardens in North Scottsdale, this city has a wedding venue for every vision. I've performed at outdoor ceremonies where the saguaro cacti were literally the backdrop, and I've played in grand ballrooms where the chandeliers made everything look like a scene from a movie. Every single time, live violin elevates the experience in a way that no playlist ever could.
There's something about hearing a real instrument — strings vibrating, music filling the air — that makes people feel things. It's science. (Okay, it's also just really beautiful music, but still.)
What Scottsdale Couples Are Booking
Scottsdale couples tend to go big or go home, and I respect that deeply. The most popular package I book for Scottsdale weddings is the Full Evening Experience — ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner hour, and a high-energy reception performance alongside the DJ. It's the complete package, and it's $2,200 for the whole day.
I've also done a lot of ceremony-only bookings for couples who are having a smaller, more intimate ceremony at a Scottsdale venue and then heading to a private reception elsewhere. That starts at $1,200 and includes everything you need for a stunning ceremony.
Songs Scottsdale Couples Love
Scottsdale has taste, and my song requests reflect that. Some of the most popular requests I get for Scottsdale weddings include "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri (a classic for a reason), "Golden Hour" by JVKE (which hits SO differently on violin), "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran, and "Turning Page" by Sleeping at Last for the processional. For cocktail hour, I love playing a mix of jazz standards and contemporary pop — it keeps the energy fun without being overwhelming.
And yes, I can learn your song. If you have something specific in mind that's not already in my repertoire, just ask. Custom arrangements are available for a small fee, and I genuinely love the challenge.
The Pixie Light Violin at Scottsdale Receptions
If you're doing an evening reception at a Scottsdale resort or venue, you absolutely need to see the Pixie Light Violin in person. When the lights go down and I start playing with my glowing LED bow, it's the kind of moment that stops the entire room. I've had wedding photographers tell me it's their favorite thing to shoot. I've had guests pull out their phones and start recording before I even finish the first note.
It's included in all my packages. Because Scottsdale deserves the full experience.
